1.     CC BY (Attribution) License

CC BY (Creative Commons Attribution) is the most accommodating of the six main Creative Commons licenses. It allows anyone to use the work for almost any purpose, provided the original creator is given proper credit.

সিসি বাই (CC BY বা Creative Commons Attribution) হলো ছয়টি প্রধান ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স লাইসেন্সের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে নমনীয় বা উদার লাইসেন্স। এটি যে কাউকে প্রায় যেকোনো উদ্দেশ্যে কাজটি ব্যবহারের অনুমতি দেয়, তবে শর্ত থাকে যে মূল নির্মাতাকে যথাযথ স্বীকৃতি দিতে হবে।

Key Features

  • ✅ Copy and redistribute the work in any medium or format.
  • ✅ Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the work.
  • ✅ Use the work for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
  • ✅ The user must give appropriate credit to the original creator, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্যসমূহ

•           ✅ যেকোনো মাধ্যম বা বিন্যাসে কাজটি অনুলিপি ও পুনঃবিতরণ করা যাবে।

•           ✅ কাজটিকে অভিযোজিত, রিমিক্স বা রূপান্তরিত করা এবং এর ওপর ভিত্তি করে নতুন কিছু তৈরি করা যাবে।

•           ✅ বাণিজ্যিক ও অবাণিজ্যিক—উভয় উদ্দেশ্যেই কাজটি ব্যবহার করা যাবে।

•           ✅ ব্যবহারকারীকে অবশ্যই মূল নির্মাতার যথাযথ স্বীকৃতি দিতে হবে, লাইসেন্সের লিঙ্ক প্রদান করতে হবে এবং কোনো পরিবর্তন করা হয়ে থাকলে তা উল্লেখ করতে হবে।

 

Conditions

The only requirement is attribution, which includes:

  • Naming the creator.
  • Providing the title of the work (if available).
  • Linking to the Creative Commons license.
  • Indicating whether any modifications were made.

শর্তাবলি

একমাত্র শর্ত হলো যথাযথ কৃতিত্ব প্রদান (অ্যাট্রিবিউশন), যার অন্তর্ভুক্ত বিষয়গুলো হলো:

•           স্রষ্টার নাম উল্লেখ করা।

•           কাজের শিরোনাম উল্লেখ করা (যদি থাকে)।

•           ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স লাইসেন্সের লিঙ্ক প্রদান করা।

•           কোনো পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে কি না, তা উল্লেখ করা।

 

Example

A photographer publishes a photo under a CC BY license. A company may:

  • Use the photo in an advertisement.
  • Edit or crop the image.
  • Sell products featuring the image.

As long as the company credits the photographer appropriately, these uses are permitted.

উদাহরণ

একজন আলোকচিত্রী CC BY লাইসেন্সের অধীনে একটি ছবি প্রকাশ করলেন। সেক্ষেত্রে একটি কোম্পানি যা করতে পারে:

•           বিজ্ঞাপনে ছবিটি ব্যবহার করা।

•           ছবিটি সম্পাদনা বা ক্রপ (কাটছাঁট) করা।

•           ছবিটি ব্যবহার করে কোনো পণ্য বিক্রি করা।

কোম্পানিটি যদি আলোকচিত্রীকে যথাযথভাবে কৃতিত্ব (ক্রেডিট) প্রদান করে, তবে এই কাজগুলো করার অনুমতি রয়েছে।

  • Encourages maximum sharing and reuse of creative works.
  • Supports education, research, and innovation.
  • Allows creators to receive recognition while enabling broad use of their work.

সুবিধাসমূহ

•           সৃজনশীল কর্মের সর্বোচ্চ মাত্রায় আদান-প্রদান ও পুনঃব্যবহারকে উৎসাহিত করে।

•           শিক্ষা, গবেষণা ও উদ্ভাবনকে সহায়তা করে।

•           স্রষ্টাদের কাজের ব্যাপক ব্যবহারের সুযোগ সৃষ্টির পাশাপাশি তাঁদের যথাযথ স্বীকৃতি লাভের সুযোগ করে দেয়।

In summary:

CC BY = Attribution only.

Anyone may copy, distribute, modify, and even use the work commercially, provided they give proper credit to the original creator.

সংক্ষেপে:

CC BY = শুধুমাত্র কৃতিত্ব প্রদান (Attribution)।

মূল নির্মাতাকে যথাযথ কৃতিত্ব প্রদান সাপেক্ষে যে কেউ এই কাজটি অনুলিপি, বিতরণ, পরিবর্তন এবং এমনকি বাণিজ্যিকভাবেও ব্যবহার করতে পারেন।
